- Difficulty of recruiting a boy for a part. As I go to an all girls school, I know a very limited number of boys and this makes it extremely difficult to organise a film trailer knowing that I won't have anyone to play a certain part. I had visioned that one of my classmates dresses as a boy but that would create unnecessary humour in a serious situation. I'm still not sure how to fix this problem.
- Because my trailer is about a girl who becomes a big performer, an obvious element needed is an audience. As I am not a professional director, I do not have money to hire or have access to a large number of extras to create an audience. But, the twilight concert and house plays are coming up very soon, so I thought that a good idea would be to take advantage of that and use the genuine audience and film them (as a whole) from a few different angles and hopefully I will incorporate that into my final trailer.
- Time management has been a minor issue for me with this task so far. Not in the sense that I haven't utilised my in-class time to do work, but for the future. The rough edit is due next Friday and I haven't started filming. I need to make sure I create a schedule and stick to it because I had this exact problem in my last filming assessment task.
