Yesterday in class, we asked Mr Andrews to look at the shots that we had in our film so far. This was good so we knew what we needed to work on in the upcoming shots we make as well as make it known to us which shots may have to be re-shot. As he was talking, Minnie and I took notes:
•Re-shoot the up pan of libby, put her on left side of screen
•Use depth of field
•Use blinds as shadows (light outside and when minnie closes it and makes it dark)
•Focus Problems - SET ON MANUAL FOCUS
•In one shot, the red head light was showing...
•create some focus lines in the shots with the pool table
•framing tighter (Minnie more dominant than Nicole)
•SCENE 3 flip the camera on the other side of the pool table
•depth of the background
•follow - sometimes – the rule of thirds and other filming rules
•When Nicole enters her house, have the house darker and more mysterious
•all shots must tell a story and link to the one that follows (VISUALLY)
•eye shots would be better if itfollow the rule of thirds
•crop nicole in car to be on a third
•when driving the car in, show the car coming in
•Shooting through glass
•BURBAN brewed tea (golden)
