The director of this documentary, Supersize Me, has positioned the viewers to think that food companies are very manipulative, evil and do not have any care for their customers. They are seen as not valuing anything but money from their business and that they do not care if their customers are aware of what they are eating, or have any value in their health.
How has the director portrayed people?
The director has portrayed people to look as if they are very gullible to the manipulative ways and advertisements of food companies. In the documentary it seems as if the people do not know the first about health (eg. not knowing what calorie is). The people are fat, stupid and gullible to anything that is put in front of them.
Do you think the film is exaggerating anything?
Sometimes it seems as if the director, Morgan Spurlock, is faking or over exaggerating some situations and reactions, for example when he threw up the first time her ate a supersized meal.
